Autopsy Report for Vedat Ademi Submitted to Prosecutor’s Office

The Institute of Forensic Medicine has submitted the autopsy findings to the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Kumanovo regarding the case of Vedat Ademi, a 32-year-old from Kumanovo who passed away on March 17 at the General Hospital of the city.

According to a statement for Portalb.mk, the findings are being reviewed in correlation with other evidence, and the public prosecutor is expected to make a final decision regarding criminal responsibility.

The Prosecutor’s spokesperson, Biljana Arsovska, previously stated that the Prosecutor’s Office had only received the report from the State Sanitary and Health Inspectorate and was awaiting the autopsy report before deciding whether to press charges for “negligent medical treatment” or “serious offenses against human health.”

The deceased’s family members, father Amet Ademi and brother Sead Ademi, claim that Vedat was given medication to which he was allergic and blame the attending physician, Zoran Gjeorgjievski.

The former hospital director, Stefan Trajanovski, acknowledged that therapy was administered to the patient, but after his condition worsened, he died. Consequently, on March 19, the Minister of Health, Arben Taravari, dismissed Trajanovski and appointed Sasho Stoshevski as his replacement.

Following the autopsy report, medical and criminal responsibility for the death of the 32-year-old is expected to be clarified. Flaka Media
